I am a big geek.  Born a Hoosier, I
grew up a band nerd, academic
competitor, and a library volunteer.
I went to college at Indiana State
University where, after four years, I
decided that the psychology field
wasn't for me and went to work in
libraries full time.
While at ISU, I met Morgan.  He was
adorable, funny, witty, sweet, and he
lived 750 miles away.  Conducting a long
distance relationship wasn't easy, but we
managed to fall in love over letters,
e-mails, and phone calls in between our
too few visits.

Ten years later, we're living our happily
ever after together in Tennessee.  He is,
and always will be, the very best part of
my life.
Although our cat Jane always considers herself
top priority.  You can find out more about her
and the cats and writers phenomenon on the
Janetopia page.

Aside from my day job and my fiction, I love to
create beaded and knotted jewelry.  Morgan and
I bowl together in his company league and we're
huge gaming geeks, playing retro and current
console games as well as World of Warcraft.  If
you play in the Bonechewer server, you'll
stumble over us on the horde side.
And, of course, I read.  Widely and obsessively.  You'll find reviews
by me on my
blog, LibraryThing, Gather, and sort of incognito on Long
and Short reviews.
